Cremer Construction

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What makes you different from your competitors?

At Cremer Construction we can take you right from concept through to your completed project. We have samples and brochures from our suppliers to help you make your selections in house.

How do we ensure a successful project?

We believe in clear and concise communication between all parties. We are working towards a common goal of building your vision while providing good value. This is a team effort!

We help our clients make decisions early on in the process before the build starts. This ensures we can get the right products when we need them while minimising variations and delays.

We have systems in place from first contact through to construction completion allowing us to track and manage your job effectively.

Does the builder or the architect come first?

We can take your project from start to finish. If you already have plans or just looking to get started on your design we can help you get going.

Do I need plans for my renovation?

This depends on the scope of your project. Generally if we are not modifying the existing structure we can upgrade existing spaces without plans. Get in touch to discuss your project.

How long will my project take?

Every project is different, the time of year and market conditions can affect the duration of the project. When we quote your job we provide a project schedule based on the current environment that will fit into our construction calendar.

Can my family live in our home while it's being renovated?

We prefer our clients to seek temporary accommodation during the project for health and safety. In some cases if your project leaves the kitchen and bathroom functioning, we can allow you to live there by installing temporary walls to separate the construction from the rest of your house.

How much will it cost?

We quote all our work and like to provide a fixed contract. Each job is different and will need to be evaluated based on plans and/or a site visit.

Do I need consent and

who is responsible?

Consent will depend on the scope of the works. Generally if your project falls under schedule 1 of the Building Act 2004 you will be exempt from needing building consent. We have done complete remodels without consent. If you are altering a supporting structure or extending your home you will need consent from your local council. Why Choose a Master Builder?
